Um dia desses, a Rosane, do Cafofo da Poppe, me perguntou se eu gostaria de fazer uma exposição com minhas fotos. A minha primeira reação foi: Oi! Como?! Deixei a ideia maturar e uns dias depois respondi que topava e o ato seguinte foi contatar a Ana Avelar, amiga e fotógrafa, para me ajudar, já que eu não sabia nem por onde começar. A primeira dica dela foi de determinar o foco da exposição e dar um nome. O fiz e a chamei para selecionarmos as fotos. Foram umas cinco horas vendo e conversando sobre as fotos. Cansativo, sim, mas uma delícia! O próximo passo foi imprimir as fotos e a Ana me indicou o Marco Araújo e de carona veio a Angela Paes, mulher dele, e os dois fazem uma dupla sensacional. Em um belo domingo, fui para a casa deles, o Marco fez um tratamento final nas fotos, comigo do seu lado, dizendo o que gostava e o que não. Impressionante o que ele faz com as fotos e bom saber que tenho muitas coisas a aprender. Umas boas horas depois de começarmos, ele imprimiu seis das vinte e uma fotos selecionadas e vou te contar, fiquei emocionado quando vi a primeira: Uau!!! Ficou linda!
Agradeço muito a Rosane, a Ana, a Angela, o Marco por me ajudarem a montar a exposição, por me receberem com carinho e atenção e incluo o Anthony Morganti, o cara que me ensina a tratar as fotos.

One of these days, Rosane, from Cafofo da Poppe, asked me if I would like to make an exhibition of my photos. My first reaction was: What?! I let the idea mature and a few days later I accepted the invitation and the next act was to contact Ana Avelar, a friend and photographer, to help me since I did not even know where to start. Her first tip was to determine the focus of the exhibition and give it a name. I did it and called her to select the photos with me. It took us about five hours selecting and talking about the photos. Tiring, yes, but a delight! The next step was to print the photos and Ana suggested me Marco Araújo and Angela Paes, his wife, came together and they make a great pair. On a beautiful Sunday, I went to their house, Marco made the final treatment in the photos, with me by his side, saying what I liked and did not like. Impressive what he does with the photos and good to know that I have many things to learn. A few hours later, he printed six of the twenty one selected photos and I'll tell you, I was thrilled when I saw the first one: Wow !!! Looks great!
