Em junho de 2018, entrei para o LAB Foto Contemporânea, um grupo de estudos de fotografia. No primeiro encontro já tínhamos um tema: Sonho. Comecei sem ter noção do que faria. No processo, veio a ideia de fazer uma caixa (eu ainda não tinha feito uma caixa de fotos) e lidar com um pesadelo. Na elaboração dela, com protótipo e tudo, surgiu o conceito da estranheza e um belo dia, a caixa estava pronta. O Ramadinha, professor, estendeu o tempo do tema e nos pediu para pensar em um segundo produto, que tivesse a ver com o primeiro. De estalo, decidi fazer um livro, eu ainda não tinha feito um livro de fotografia, e no segundo seguinte, cocei a cabeça, tinha de ser um livro estranho… Depois de alguns protótipos o livro surgiu. Nisso, achei que o Sonho tinha terminado e uma exposição foi marcada (31/08/2019); e seria legal ter algo a colocar na parede e aí?! Caixa e livro na parede não rola. Veio a ideia de fazer a última página do livro em um tamanho grande e pronto. Pronto nada, não ia falar com a estranheza dos outros dois produtos. Surgiu o painel. Sim, eu nunca tinha feito um painel de fotos… Depois de alguns testes no computador e um protótipo em tamanho real, 60 x 60 cm, o painel ficou pronto.
In June 2018 I joined LAB Foto Contemporânea, a photography study group. At the first meeting, we already had a theme: Dream. I started with no idea what I would do. During the the process, came the idea of making a box (I haven't made a photo box yet) and dealing with nightmares. In its elaboration, with a prototype and all, came the concept of strangeness and on an one fine day, the box was ready. Ramadinha (the instructor) extended the time of the theme and asked us to think for a second product that had to do with the first one. In a snap, I decided to make a book, I have not yet made a photobook. In the next second, I scratched my head: it had to be a strange book… After a few prototypes, the book came up. With that, I thought the Dream was over and an exhibition was scheduled (08/31/2019) and it would be nice to have something to put on the wall and so?! The box and the book wouldn't work on the wall. I had the idea to make the last page of the book in a large size and that's it. Well, it wasn't going to match the weirdness of the other two products. Then, the panel idea appeared. Yes, I had never done a photo panel before… After some computer testing and a life-size prototype 60 x 60 cm, the panel was ready.
